Your Summer Storage Questions, Answered — the Honest Reidsville Version

We get the same good questions all summer from folks around Reidsville, Eden, and Ruffin. Here are the honest answers — the ones we’d give a neighbor, not a sales pitch.

“What’s the cheapest way to store a bedroom’s worth of stuff?” A 5×10 drive-up unit. It holds a bed, a dresser, a few bins, and boxes with room to spare, and ours start at $37 a month — the lowest entry price around. For most single-room jobs, that’s all you need.

“Do I really need climate control?” For some things, yes; for most, no. Furniture you care about, electronics, photographs, and important paperwork hold up far better in a climate-controlled unit through a humid Rockingham County summer. Tools, yard gear, sealed bins of household goods, and seasonal items are perfectly happy in a drive-up unit. Our climate-controlled units also start at $37, so it’s not an expensive decision either way — and we’ll tell you honestly which of your things need it.

“How long do I have to commit?” Month to month. No long-term contract. Rent it for the summer, close it out when you’re done, no penalty. A lot of our tenants take a unit for a project or a move and are in and out in a couple of months.

“Can I do it without coming to the office?” Yes. Online move-in takes a few minutes, and every unit is drive-up, so you pull the car right to the door to load. Keypad gate access, video surveillance, and a fenced, lit property come standard.

“What size do I actually need?” The most common mistake is guessing too small on a 10×10 or too big on a 10×20. Rather than have you pay for air or cram a unit, call and describe what you’re storing — we’ll size it right before you rent.
